Hi 👋 I’m Helen. I’m passionate about authentic brand building, creating strategic, engaging content and learning about all things digital. As an English graduate, I've always had a keen eye for detail and a creative flare. Marketing and communications seemed like the perfect fit for me, and I was lucky enough to find a role in the Help for Heroes team straight after university. Working in the Trading department, I got to experience marketing in both charity and retail environments, being exposed to a wide variety of marketing aspects from website management, SEO, email, PPC and social media. I was so passionate about the great work Help for Heroes does that I stayed for over four years, developing my skills with various internal promotions.Seeking a new challenge, I started with QinetiQ in 2015 in the Air marketing team to promote new campaigns, working closely with the business development team. 2016 gave me the opportunity to move to a more digitally focused role within the Corporate Communications team, where managed the global website, social channels and overall digital strategy.QinetiQ supported me through the pregnancies, births and early years of my two children in 2021 and 2023 - adding motherhood to my CV - my biggest challenge, and proudest achievement yet! So three roles, some incredible experiences, countless team changes, a world-changing pandemic, two wonderful children and nearly nine years later, it was time to say goodbye to my friends and colleagues at QinetiQ.Why not try a totally new industry, role, type of company and location? You’ll now find me as Gungho’s new Head of Marketing! Looking forward to seeing what this next chapter holds…
