I worked across Bloomberg News's commodities teams in London. This involved newsgathering and collaborating with reporters and managers globally to develop, edit, publish and promote breaking news and features for Bloomberg's Terminal and website subscribers, sending market-moving headlines and supporting reporters at live events. I ran one of Bloomberg's official social media accounts for 2.5 years, helping follower numbers increase by ~300%, and contributed to promotion on several others. I also published Bloomberg's daily Telegram posts in European office hours which received on average between 20,000-35,000 impressions per post.I frequently appeared on Bloomberg TV and Bloomberg Radio to promote energy and commodities coverage across multiple platforms.I have worked as an editor on Bloomberg's energy team in London since June 2018, covering both news and analysis on topics including energy markets, OPEC, companies news, quarterly financial results, the energy transition and activist investors. In February 2020, I also started working on the metals, mining and agriculture team, developing long-form articles with reporters and editing breaking news on mining, metals and agricultural markets, companies and looking at the impact of climate change.

I led the team responsible for Petroleum Economist’s industry-leading print and digital content. • This involved managing the entire editorial process from commissioning through to production, for the monthly print magazine, digital newsletters, additional online and thought leadership content and the range of events and publications Petroleum Economist produces or provides content for externally. • This included Petroleum Economist’s annual Outlook book https://store.petroleum-economist.com/Book-Outlook-p/mpeb206.htm and the World Energy Council’s monthly, flagship World Energy Focus newsletter http://worldenergyfocus.org/, which was distributed to around 10,000 industry executives worldwide. • I coordinated a network of staff editors and freelance contributors around the globe, was responsible for design and production of the magazine and managment of the publication’s editorial budget. I also contributed content for the print and digital products.

I sourced and wrote original news stories and analysis features on the energy industry for the weekly publication "PE Unconventional", which has the latest news and analysis from the unconventional energy industry, and for the monthly magazine.
