About Helen Robertson

After more than a decade in energy journalism at tier 1 organisations including Bloomberg, S&P Global, as well as OPIS, Euromoney, Gulf Publishing, the BBC and Sky News, I decided to broaden my skillset by making the switch to consulting and advising. Throughout my career as a journalist I have developed a range of editorial and technical skills from working in fast-paced, breaking news environments. I have also had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge across energy markets, metals & mining and agriculture, as well as the climate crisis and energy transition challenges. I’m currently putting these skills and learnings to use as an advisor for Trading & Supply at Shell.I also speak Spanish, French and I’m learning Polish. Specialties: Commodities markets, politics, digital, SEO, brand building, Hispanic and Latin American affairs, business journalism, broadcast media, online and print journalism, investigative reporting.
