Kepos Capital was founded in 2010 by Mark Carhart, Giorgio De Santis, and Bob Litterman, former leaders of the Goldman Sachs Quantitative Investment Strategies group. Kepos had approximately $3 billion in assets under management and strategies that included quant macro, alternative risk premia and special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). I felt privileged to join Kepos in January 2018, a group of high caliber individuals with a vast diversity of experience in their respective roles. I was responsible for asset raising & client servicing in Europe, the U.S. East Coast and across the southern states to Texas. In my time at Kepos I took on servicing some of their large existing investors and building a pipeline of interest across all of their funds. I was also directly involved in the proposal to launch a UCITS fund. In my year at Kepos I learnt a lot about short term quantitative macro trading, risk premia and SPACS but the really informative learning was around my experience of team, culture & commerciality. I will always be thankful for this experience and the time with this great group of people & the confidence they had in me.

This involved writing a business plan, presenting it to FINRA's admissions board and then obtaining my Series 24, 7 and 3 in that order over the course of two weeks! I wore a CEO, CCO, COO and Head of Business Development hat while working through a financial crisis and building a successful business. I had hands on learning about the benefits of home office relationships and equally the importance of building trust, understanding & efficiency with Financial Advisors. I opened up relationships at Institutional Consultants, attended national conferences for the public and municipal plan space & and cultivated relationships with endowments, foundations and family offices throughout the USA.I built up a team to focus on distribution and client services of the North American market for Abbey Capital Ltd. Abbey Capital is a leading global Alternative Investment Manager specializing in creating solutions for investors in Managed Futures and F/X. The firm has a track record going back to 2000. I sold Celtic Advisors in March of 2010 to Abbey Capital and became the Head of their US business and an Executive Director on the Abbey Capital (US) LLC Board.
