The day I started we had received the RFP responses back from the top 5 telecommunications public switch suppliers in the world and my boss said "Come into this room, and work with these 6 or so people for the next 3 months and with them decide which swtich we want to deliver dial tone and switched telco services to our business market!"Once we assessed all the technology available, signed the supply contract, got the exchanges in place it was then a matter of marketing and selling the switched services to the business markets in the cable franchises that we owned. It was a privilege to work with such a talented team of telecommunications experts from all over the world, on the creation of a intergrated CableTV/ telco organisation.
