With a background in marine biology and fisheries management, I am currently interested in the application of behavioural economics to contribute to help address fisheries and natural resource management problems, particularly in the context of offshore wind farm development. I focus on understanding the social and economic decisions made by users of marine resources and their interactions with the marine environment. I employ empirical approaches, such as interviews and various survey techniques, as well as methods based on composite indices (e.g., the vulnerability method). The combination of real data and models to represent the behaviour and interactions of resource users at an appropriate level of complexity is a powerful tool for planning suitable management interventions. Through my research, I aim to enhance the management of marine systems and ensure their long-term viability in a world where marine space is increasingly coveted.Research interests/approaches: - Fisheries management and governance- Sustainability sciences and transdisciplinarity- Holistic systemic approach

Phd ResearcherUmr 6308 Amure Feb 2023 - PresentBrest, Brittany, FranceTitle : Vulnerability assessment of professional fishing activities to the implementation of offshore wind farmsProfessional fishing activities are subject to spatial pressures. The cohabitation between a traditional activity of exploitation of living marine resources and the development of the offshore wind energy industry raises the question of space sharing and rules of use.Within the framework of the EOLENMER project, this thesis proposes to apply the vulnerability methodology at a local scale. The dimensions of exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity of fishing communities will be studied with the aim of better understanding what would happen after the implementation of wind farmSupervisor: Pascal Le Floc'h and Marjolaine Frésard -
