During my internship at SAGA, a German immersion school, I have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks related to administration and marketing. Some of my key responsibilities include:• Managing end-to-end social media marketing across Instagram and Facebook, overseeing all creative content posted across channels and leading strategic engagement initiatives. This involved developing engaging content that resonated with our target audience. • Planning and driving forward all team social events, internal activities aimed at providing cultural awareness for our students, and school outreach initiatives designed to attract new customers. • Overseeing administrative responsibilities, such as creating and marketing job ads for a niche position by identifying strategic channels for maximum reach. Working at SAGA provides me with valuable experience in marketing and administration, while also giving me the opportunity to work in a different country and culture.

The bachelor thesis compared the user perception of public transport mobility campaigns in Hamburg and Berlin, and how it is influenced by city culture. The study was conducted to support the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund GmbH in measuring the success of their modern and dynamic campaign aimed at young and future-oriented Hamburg residents. Three online guided focus group interviews were conducted, and the results showed significant differences in user perception between Hamburgers and Berliners, which can be attributed to characteristics in city culture and mentality.

During my internship, I had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into corporate communications, with a special focus on social media communication. As part of my responsibilities, I was in charge of the creative development of social media content, including photos, texts, and videos, which were carefully aligned with the company's overall communication strategy.Moreover, I had the privilege of being part of the Facebook merger of Hamburg's public transportation companies into a single account, which required both my creative and strategic skills. Working on this project was an excellent opportunity for me to apply my knowledge and learn from experienced professionals in the field.

During my Bachelor studies I also gained work experience as a member of the Research team at Statista, where I had the opportunity to work on various projects related to eCommerce. Some of my key responsibilities included:• Researching and collecting relevant indicators of online stores, especially in the area of distribution, shipping services, and payment options.• Collecting and preparing general and financial data from companies for use in our internal database.• Analyzing and modeling eCommerce sales of companies based on business reports for the German-speaking and Scandinavian market.• Supporting and ensuring quality control in the preparation of reports on eCommerce for numerous countries worldwide.• Conducting independent research and writing news articles on exciting topics in the field of eCommerce for our news page and newsletter.• Researching and collecting data and information on commission models of online marketplaces worldwide.Working at Statista provided me with valuable experience in the eCommerce industry, and I enjoyed being part of a team that was committed to delivering high-quality research and insights to clients.
