Health is more than absence of disease. At SUF, our objective is to integrate the principles of health, resilience, and mental well-being into every facet of life – in cityplanning, early childhood development, and the interaction of elderly citizens with hospitals and intermittent care services. In essence, our goal is to contribute to healthy lives and promote well-being for all our citizens at all ages.We want to contribute to the realization of the Odense City Council's vision of creating a "climate-neutral, healthy, and livable city." This entails, among other things, establishing healthy frameworks and mitigating factors contributing to the persisting inequality in health experienced by too many individuals.SUF is tasked with operating in various arenas and engaging in extensive diplomatic collaboration with numerous partners, both internal and external. A healthy society is a product of the collective efforts of many, a concept that we each carry within ourselves and make possible for one another.Crucially, in the upcoming years, our focus is on proactively and constructively contributing to the transformation of the Danish healthcare system both within and beyond municipal boundaries.

The main strategic objective as director of the Department for Social Affairs and Labour Market is to help people with permanent and temporary challenges in life to enhance their hopes on their future opportunities. We work relentlessly with the task of finding a new way forward. Designing and implementing adequate measures with regard to Social Affairs is not easy - we are facing huge challenges economically and professionally. We believe that the public sector can solve these problems if we co-work with others who are passionate about enhancing quality of life, self determination and economic substainability. At the moment we're establishing further options on housing in Randers. With regard to labour market are we working together with private partners on implementing measures that will increase jobs for people whose prior worklife experiences are slim. Furthermore we're engaged in bringing about change for adolescent and young adult who are struggling with disconnectness

Area of responsibility: CEO at the municipality of Faaborg-Midtfyn.I'm engaged in innovating the public sector and public leadership and thus contributing to bring about the next version of the danish society.Set in rural Funen the municipality of Faaborg-Midtfyn is faced with a palette of opportunities and challenges. For years societies have been focused on urban growth and city development. Thus overlooking the fact that people thrive when sorrunded by nature, are given room for contemplation and are engaged in social relations and friendships. Denmark is a small, homogeneous and infrastructually well covered country and thus it should be a main objective to give even balance to all parts of the country. In FMK I work relentlessly to bring about an even balance in our commen approach concerning issues such as growth in competencies, companies and societies. Focusing on bringing about a new paradigm for rural communities in the 21th century. We're determined to travel up stream - to visualize and bring into operation a comtemporary version of a modern society in a rural setting. We have named it: "tættere på" - "getting closer" and it refers to a wide range of activities which main objective is to reintroduce relevans in all interactions between people and between people and the municipality.

Managing Director - elderly, disabled and psychriatric citizens in the City of Odense.Area of responsibility: rehabilitating adults with passing or permanent reduced physical, cognitive or social functioning. Working on bringing them back on track with their adult lifes.I'm engaged in innovating the public sector in order to meet the demands of tomorrow. The up coming society is mind-expanding on levels that are yet to be understood and recognized by our culturally accustomed minds and soulsBudget app. 2 billion danish kroner. The total number of employees is somewhere close to 3.000 but the number is going down due to the effect of more effective methods in helping citizens to get on with their lives. We're on the brink of lauching 12 newly designed courses of rehabilitation thus covering all groups of citizens within the divisions area of responsebility. Each citizen can in the furture expect one unique plan that helps and enables the citizen to reachs his or hers specific needs and goals for the furture. In order to do so we are in a process of redesigning all public services so that they in a more adequate, coherent and effective way are able to support the citizen on her og his way forward. On top of that we're laying out a new concept of performance management especially designed for courses of rehabilitiation. A book covering this journey and resuts will be published in november.On the 5.th of January 2015 we open our doors to an organization not jet seen in the public sector in Denmark. All workplaces hold multidisciplinary groups of professionals. Thus changing homecare from three separate units of respectively nurses, therapists and nurses assistants to integrated units that can work coordinated and bringing their professional skills in closer interaction. I answer to the City Counsel consisting of 29 members - 7 of those especially committed to my area of responsibility.

Apart from achieving substansial results the initiative have nationally shaped the professional approach to senior citizens.
