In my role at Sunrise, I transformed the approach and mindset around project management.I was responsible for developing new best-practice project management approaches and processes, including client and delivery management philosophies, implementing tools and methods, and establishing collaborations and partnerships.My focus was on better anchoring the economic principles that help ensure the agency's continued growth—amongst others, ensuring everyone knows and understands the importance of effectively monitoring project health. I led a team of +10 project managers with different backgrounds and levels of experience. My goal was to ensure a happy and motivated team and to foster a strong culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing, where everyone gets ownership of an area within their expertise that will develop the discipline (project management), educate the team, and strengthen the agency in our offerings.To succeed in this, I constantly monitored the agency's recruitment needs, considered internal moves, and interviewed all candidates early to ensure a significant inflow of talent.I client- and project-managed some of the agency's largest accounts, including brand and marketing projects of both strategic and tactical nature within B2B, B2C, and NGOs. I was involved in driving many projects from A-Z. Still, I dedicated most of my time to client onboarding, project definition and scoping, project- and process outlining. I specialized in advanced projects with complex stakeholder management.
