I founded The Human Edge in 1996 with a dream to (1) Change Africa for Good; (2) Accelerate leadership development and (3) Help leaders create cultures of care, connection, engagement and high performance. Our mission is to improve Africa by helping people improve themselves. We established a partnership with Crucial Learning in 2006, who through their award-winning training programs and bestselling books, teach crucial skills to help people learn behaviours that have a disproportionate impact on outcomes. We have been representing them as the sole licensee holder in South Africa ever since.Celebrating our 25th anniversary this year, we have been consistently recognised by Crucial Learning as Superior Performance Partners from 2011 to 2019. In 2018, The Human Edge was involved in Crucial Learning's largest international culture project working across 21 African and Middle-East countries as MTN's Culture Journey Partners.I have extensive experience in implementing organisation-wide culture change initiatives. My mission is to improve lives by teaching people crucial skills to change behaviour, relationships and results at a personal and organisational level. We make crucial human skills such as dialogue (conversations), accountability, influence and habit change accessible through scalable, flexible, inclusive and engaging learning experiences.Dialogue is the difference. I strongly believe that the quality of an organisation's culture will never exceed the quality of their conversations. One of the costliest barriers to organisational performance is unresolved Crucial Conversations. I am passionate about teaching strategies and skill sets for driving rapid, sustainable and measurable behaviour change that lead to improvements in performance, wellbeing, engagement and psychological safety.
