Responsible for data entry of new catalog items ensuring the data base integrity of vendor, cost, product attributes, pricing, ship methods, status codes, etc.Internal “Go to person” regarding best practice for business rules, processes and procedures regarding items, promotions, kits, ship methods, & shipping restrictions. Managed many product categories totaling over 50% of the company’s 16,000 active item numbers. This included assigning both the item numbers and UPC codes to the items.Handled all Vendor Set-Up when company switched software. A large project which at the time, involved over 300 active vendors and took 3 weeks.Maintained CBM vendor worksheets; MOQ, Master Carton, Master Pack used to insure all foreign shipments arrived in full container loads.  Tracked Purchase Orders with both international & domestic freight forwarders, to ensure timely arrival of goods.Managed vendor price increases and decreases including discounted items.Developed best practices for product style set up. Coded catalog seasonal drops and adds.Helped evaluate new copying and printing machines, collected bids from several vendors on the purchase of new copying/printing equipment.

Handled all department administrative tasks, including but not limited to faxing, filing, and data entry.Ordered and organized all office supplies, forms, and stationery. Assisted Returns Department with backlog and establishing better operating procedures. This resulted in a savings for the company which was previously accepting all returns without limitations.Assisted Distribution Center, with order picking and shipping, when necessary.Assisted Distribution Center, with annual physical inventory, and returns.
