Working Well Trust supports people with mental health, Autism and learning disabilities to achieve their personal goals as part of their recovery. We operate standard and supported employment programmes as well as Individual Placement and Support (IPS) projects that supports people to find work and to help people who are at risk of losing their employment to stay in work (Kingston, Rework, Reward and Upskill). We also run two emerging social enterprises; Sew and Support which offers a sewing service to designers combined with a training programme for our clients, and Access which also combines training but with a commercial digital print business. For our clients the benefit of using Working Well can include finding a job and the start of a career but can also include increased self-confidence, resilience and motivation as part of their personal recovery. Employers are offered information and advice about mental health in the workplace, and given support to resolve issues. Our track record in supporting people with mental health problems in to work is above the national average for local employment programmes and five times that of the government programmes. Three quarters of people who access the retention service stay in work with the majority of others being helped to find new employment.
