I have developed sales and marketing knowledge through a range of exciting and challenging roles over my career. My approach is to maintain consistency of service while bringing an element of creativity to any role. I enjoy problem solving and facing challenges whether that be working as a self-motivated individual or part of a larger team. As you would expect I am an organised individual adept at multitasking. I am used to working within fixed budgets and ensuring that all projects undertaken have achievable goals with the funds and tools available. This often allows me to be more creative when working on a project as I can ensure that we are also getting the most impact for the time and money invested. I enjoy reviewing the motivations behind a project and enjoy working in an environment where individual views can be recognised and shared to ensure that as a team we deliver the best possible results. As well as my day to day role I have been asked to coach a couple of colleagues within the business who are looking to develop their careers and am pleased to say that I have seen them thrive and progress. Most of my experience lies in the Business to Business arena with a focus on enabling the sales force to enhance their contribution to the business by monopolising all of the marketing tools at their disposal. This means that I have experience in traditional marketing such as brochure production and direct mail, as well as digital marketing and social media optimisation and most things in between. I enjoy working with digital tools and the agility that this offers in providing new opportunities for different customer sets. In 2022 I was asked to take ownership of the Ability Network, which is part of the Travis Perkins Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programme. As lead of the network I have managed several business wide celebrations for key events throughout the year that have positively impacted colleagues from across the Travis Perkins PLC.
