InterEx Group is an international staffing & consulting company that has a focus in: - Cloud Technologies - Microsoft Stack - Business Intelligence & Data They deliver predominantly contract staffing & service-based offerings to clients across Europe and the US. My role as MD was to support the Founder & CEO in driving the growth and improving the RoI for this 25 person business. I had full leadership responsibility for the business and during my time here produced a full P&L and cost analysis review to make the business more efficient, implemented a new business plan and many improved processes, wrote and developed a training Academy for new recruits and made several hires. We also delivered excellent numbers and consistent growth, including our best ever month despite being in the middle of a pandemic.

In this role I was brought in to lead the rebrand and transformation of Chapman Black's engineering business into it's own unique brand within the SourceChain group, specialising in embedded technology recruitment in Europe. We had over 30 heads split across embedded software, embedded hardware, algorithm development combined with AI, machine learning and computer vision, account management, client engagement and contract.In 3 months I had redefined the operating model and business plan which we were on track to deliver. I had also been involved in some key client wins. Sadly due to the SourceChain Group being made insolvent at the end of January 2020, Scale is no longer in operation.

Although I was only with the group for 3 months, I helped them to implement new targeting, review and reporting processes and data analysis tools. In this role I sat on the Executive Board and had full responsibility for leading and developing Proco's EMEA business. With offices in London, Brighton and Frankfurt I grew a team of 60 plus researchers and consultants split across 3 brands and recruiting across all of Europe, which generated roughly half of Proco Group's revenue.Proco Global is a specialist global recruitment business focusing on end-to-end supply chain management across Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Engineering, R&D & innovation, Quality and Operational Excellence. The Group incorporated 3 brands - - Proco Global focused on executive search for predominantly retained senior mandates- Proco Associates focused on middle management hires within the same client base, with a particular specialism in large scale project hiring of niche specialist talent- Proco Commodities focused on mid to senior level mandates across a variety of both front and back office disciplines, but all into the commodities industryWe recruited across most of the private sector but with particular specialisms in food & beverage, consumer goods, life sciences, automotive, industrial equipment, process & chemicals, packaging, retail and technologyI was involved in every operational aspect of the business including headhunting and directly hiring staff; defining target markets, value proposition, operating models and processes; business development and development of the client strategy; designing and implementing a new commission and reward structure; development of the management team from consultant to MD, launching the contract and interim business, L&D, marketing and brand strategy, setting the flexible working policy and mentoring senior women in the business globallyDuring my tenure the business grew considerably in both headcount and EBITDA and returned to being the top performing region in the Group.

I was initially hired to launch the Proco Associates brand in EMEA from scratch. This included work on the branding and marketing collateral, defining the operating model and target markets and leading on business development, as well as hiring and developing the team. In less than 12 months it had become a business of 20 plus people generating approximately 30% of group revenue.Following the success of Associates I was promoted to be MD for both the London & Brighton offices encompassing all 3 group brands (Global, Associates and Commodities). Initially responsible for turning round the London business and getting EMEA back to being the top performing region in Proco in terms of both NFI & EBITDA, I continued to expand our presence across the region.Off the back of my success in this role I was promoted to Regional CEO for EMEA.

As Director for the Commerce & Industry business in London, I had full P&L responsibility for multiple teams totalling around 45 heads, recruiting Accounting & Finance, Project & Change Management, HR, Marketing and Procurement professionals into all areas of the private sector outside of financial services. My teams of specialist consultants recruited at all levels on both a permanent and temporary basis. Each consultant also further specialised in a particular sector with key focuses around the retail/FMCG, media, property & construction, transport & infrastructure, energy, legal and services sectors.In addition to this I operated as Account Director for several key clients and was a member of the B&C operational board.

Starting as a Senior Consultant recruiting Temporary & Contract Accounting and Finance professionals across all sectors, I developed a personal specialism in senior level recruitment and the recruitment of interim consultants. I progressed to Divisional Director running up to 4 teams covering Temporary & Contract and permanent recruitment into Commerce and Industry, Public Sector and Public Practice and was a member of the Senior Management Team.
