Key responsibilities include: Re-energize, inspire and motivate the PMO ensuring the PMO matures and modernises its processes to align to modern practices. Move the PMO culture from supporting roles to challenge, assurance and governance. Enable processes to become lean and align to an evolving agile culture. Develop and lead the Portfolio Management Office Team, ensuring adherence to governance, delivery and Portfolio Management across the Riverside change projects. Develop lean processes and tools to ensure the change projects have improved methods to deliver a complex change portfolio. Lead the performance reporting function for IT and Change, ensuring objective and critical analysis and evaluation of performance is carried out across the function, and findings, trends and recommendations are reported to the Executive Director, to help drive continuous improvement and inform decision making. Oversee the production of project plans and supporting documentation, embedding and managing the quality assurance process to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Project Delivery Lifecycle.Manage the resource forecasts (demand) and assignment (supply) of all resources on behalf of IT and Change, ensuring alignment to the Group’s strategic objectives and agreed resource planning models.Produce and present project information including budgets, forecasts and Risk, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies (RAID’s) for associated boards and groups as required, including Project Steering Groups and Delivery Boards.Manage the priorities and workloads of the projects and processes assigned to each PMO analyst.

The core duties of this role involve managing a cross site team to support the successful delivery of the portfolio of IT business change programmes with a combined budget of £30m. Responsibilities include:Develop, mainatin and manage the PMO and effectively co-ordinate the portfolio of work including governance arrangements, ensuring plans, resources, risks, and status reports are delivered to Senior Leadership Team.Management of the assurance framework on behalf of the senior leadership team by developing and implementing programme assurance arrangements to increase visibility and ensure programmes are on course to deliver their outcomes.Managing resources across the PMO to ensure there is capacity to provide a programme and project support service across the portfolio of programmes.
