The focus is on making the most of a firm’s investment in their credit scoring models.Alongside Gerard Scallan, I provide ScorePlus open seminars each Spring and Autumn in Bristol UK. As a consultant, developed credit strategies for bank, credit card, building society and telecommunication organisations. During this period, developed training seminars, with Gerard Scallan of Scoreplus SARL, which are now regarded as industry standard training programmes. Co-authored the award winning text “The Principles and Practice of Consumer Credit Risk Management” and was an examiner for the Institute of Financial Services.

In this period I worked for a succession of companies, all of which became absorbed into GE. This included Welbeck Finance, Burton Group Financial Services and House of Fraser Financial Services.For most of the period I worked in the Credit Strategy function, being appointed Head of Credit Strategy in 1988.
