Creativity and community are my passions! I am dedicated to facilitating community around shared values, imagination and collective vision for the future. Background:Combining my love for visual arts, communication and social change, I started working for a regional non-profit where I could combine my interests. Through my communications work, I grew my graphic design skills, and eventually took initiative to improve my organization's social media and website performance. I grew their follower count and increased web traffic by making optimizing images and improving UI/UX. Through this introduction to building in digital space, I founded Ruby Design and started crafting easy-to-use websites. While I was improving my UX/UI skills and project management, I wanted to learn more about the foundation of the sites I was crafting. I attended a Software Engineering bootcamp program to build technical & hard skills to add to my years of design experience and foundational understanding of UX/UI development.
