Working with the founders and board to articulate the charity’s global vision clearly and compellingly, connect this directly to a coherent and ambitious global business strategy and develop the operational parameters for implementation in multiple territories.• Development of the philanthropy strategy for a private membership organisation with a long history and broad range of philanthropic activities. Worked with the CEO and director of philanthropy to articulate the purpose of the company’s philanthropic work and how this sits with the wider purpose and values of the business. Lead a small 'start-up' team within the UK organisation to plan and implement the first ever Red Nose Day in the United States in 2015. The campaign raised over $23m for children living in poverty in both the USA and some of the world's poorest communities.Developed and delivered the strategy for the second campaign, including the recruitment of a core team in the USA to establish the charity and ensure the longevity of the property in the US.Responsibilities spanned all areas of operations including: budget management, project planning, logistics, legal, finance, HR and governance.

Advised Ministers on a range of policy areas including the development and improvement of the academy and Free Schools programmesUndertook studies to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the departmentLead and established the newly formed implementation group and undertook high priority projects at the instruction of the Secretary of State

Delivered Red Nose Day 2011 and Sport Relief 2012 on time and to budget. Together these campaigns raised over £172m in two yearsDeveloped and implemented whole-campaign strategies for Sport Relief 2012 and Red Nose Day 2013 Introduced a new two year planning cycle and successfully delivered this for the first time for Sport Relief 2012 Successfully managed and implemented a new process to rationalise campaign budgets, allowing delivery of greater results for lower year on year spendDeveloped practices and decision-making frameworks that allow campaigns to grasp, often last minute, multi-million pound opportunities without disrupting delivery

Managed and delivered complex projects in a range of areas. Projects included; high profile celebrity challenges working closely with the BBC and external partners; definition and synthesis of requirements for major technology projects and internal cross-organisational strategy development.
