* Developing and implementing an Events Plan for Pearson VUE in line with the wider marketing plan which supports the needs of the business.* Responsible for planning and co-ordinating a full international event programme for Pearson VUE* Providing success measurements and supporting management of leads from events* Identifying and securing speaking opportunities for senior managers* Identifying and organising client / prospect seminars and webinars* Identifying and securing partnership and sponsorship opportunities * Liaising with the wider team, and agencies where appropriate, to provide a full integrated campaign around specific events.* Develop strong relationships with wider Pearson events colleagues to maximise effectiveness of event management.

* Co-ordinate an annual programme of approximately 100 events (attendees 10 - 1,500), both internal and external.* Manage a team of two staff and ensure the smooth running of the events activities. * Provide a customer-facing role as required and a key liaison contact. * Ensure an excellent representation of the College and provide a high quality customer experience throughout the events produced.* Develop and maintain positive relationships with key staff groups across the College to enable event opportunities to be developed.* Evaluate the programme of events for continual improvement.* Produce reports to help improve efficiencies.of events.* Help to ensure the working environment is maintained in accordance with College Policy and Health & Safety guidelines and legislative requirements.

* Establish and maintain positive relationships with key contacts in schools, colleges and other core interest groups.* Build a programme of College events and activity within these organisations that maximises the impact of the College’s recruitment goals. * Organise and deliver the annual programme of events that meet stakeholder expectations.* Liaise with internal teams across three campuses to help co-ordinate staffing and resources for events, taster sessions and other activity.* Arrange our participation at other industry events that will benefit the College's goals.
