I remember learning at a very early age that if you are kind to others, they will be kind to you. I try to live my life “leading by example.” I’m a mother of four adult children and I raised them with that mantra alongside many others. And I know that things aren’t always what they seem and there is a reason behind every decision that’s based on more than the visual surface.These two belief systems are deeply rooted in my personal values and I bring them to life in the scope of my everyday working life. As a leader at VSECU serving my local community as a branch manager, I lead by example upholding the values of community and people helping people embodied by the credit union. I treat people the way that I want to be treated and impact their lives in meaningful ways.As a branch manager I appreciate working with many people from all financial backgrounds. One of my favorite aspects is sharing my knowledge and experience in the lending world. Today banking and having to borrow money can seem impersonal and can be based on numbers only. I like to humanize the experience with the people I help. I know there is more to the story than just numbers. I can help you understand your credit score, how to improve it, and work with you to ensure the best outcome for financial security while positively impacting the quality of life for you and your family. I have over thirty years’ experience serving the needs of others in different job roles. I’m very interested in helping people and would like to hear your “story.”
