I am a partner in Simpson Grierson's commercial litigation group, based in the Christchurch office. I am an insurance and dispute resolution specialist having acted for clients on a wide range of complex commercial matters, including contractual, tortious and construction claims. I have extensive insurance experience and have also acted in high profile Coronial inquiries and inquests and Royal Commissions of Inquiry. I have governance experience and a passion for leadership. Problem solving, strategy, development and implementation are skills which I have developed through my legal career and guiding others through complex issues to a resolution is a particular strength. I am practical, pragmatic and commercial and operate always with a strategic overlay, realising there are different ways to achieve an outcome.
