EvatecAG: A Switzerland-based company, the Thin Film Powerhouse for Semiconductors, LED, MEMs, Advanced Packaging and HP Optics.Key Customer: amsOsram, Infineon, Unisem, Silterra, Qualcomm RF360Main Responsibilities and Strength:• Manage equipment, process, system, software and special projects as part of application engineer role responsibilities.• Lead tool qualification for Clusterline machines (metal layer sputtering/deposition, etching, thin film properties). Involves directly during installation, system/functional check and IAT/FAT.• Key contact person for customer service (hardware/software/process). Response to client call for any on-going projects, troubleshooting/ breakdown, line sustaining, and improvement solutions.• Present to customer on troubleshooting status and outcome. Provide elaborated case report (8D/DOE), propose solutions and monitoring period with dedicated support until case fully resolved.• Professionally liaise with multiple teams from customer (with their counterparts) and EvatecHQ on CIP program and escalation issues.• Wide knowledge of system knob to use for tuning and troubleshooting any hardware/software/process related situations involving mechanical, electrical, system communication or vacuum related cases.• Provide service support such as preventive maintenance, module conversions and retrofit as per described in service contracts.Supporting Task:• Manage tool relocation and requalification from one site to another.• Multiple support trip to EvatecHQ in Switzerland (>10 times) for projects initiatives and solutions.• Perform DOE on special process tuning request in order to standardize process amongst tools or to improve process control.• Involved in software analysis and upgrades.• Perform inventory check and work on updated BOM list with project managers for Clusterline machines.• Provide in-house training for newly developed projects and tools.
