I was instumental in the design and preparation of eight Statements of Work that successfully obtained funding to form a detailed 12-month Agritech programme.My responsibilities encompass overseeing the program's budget, designing a monthly reporting system which I am responsible for completing, coordinating and leading regular meetings, advocating for the programme to foster company engagement, and representing NZTE at various events.

I worked with a portfolio of 30 New Zealand companies, supporting them as they export to the UK and Ireland. This involved a broad range of commercial advice including market understanding, establishing relationships in the UK, managing inter-governmental agency initiatives, coordinating trade shows and various other areas of commercial advice, and in-market support. I was also the Agritech Sector Lead for Europe, which required coordinating the wider European team of Agritech Commercial Advisors to establish and execute an Agritech sector plan. Key Results:I completed the Agritech Sector Plan (annual planning), which resulted in increased funding and engagement from the wider Europe team, identified and actioned a significant opportunity to promote the New Zealand Agritech brand at the National Farm Management Conference in London, various outcomes for companies that I support, including introductions to key industry stakeholders, hiring of key staff, and re-engaging with companies who have not been working closely with NZTE in recent years.

Working in a fast-paced, high intensity environment, I was responsible for accounts receivable among other things. I was part of a finance team of three who work together to report to the board on a monthly basis. The position required a high level of accuracy and a constant drive to meet deadlines. My key tasks included cash flow forecasting, keeping track of sales, issuing invoices and credit notes, communicating with customers who pay outside of trading terms, supporting other staff in the company when they required financial information as well as preparing various reconciliations and summaries.
