My team consists of 2 dedicated finance professionals. I am very hands on with all aspects of the financial part of the business, spanning from strategic discussions with the owners and budgeting to VAT payments and follow up on overdue debtors. I am the main contact to the bank, accountants and insurance company. The focus of my time with SHOE THE BEAR until now has been to establish and document key financial procedures and processes (financial calendar, risk mitigation through currency futures etc.), ensure a solid foundation for analysis through clean-up and harmonization of the financial accounts, increase focus on and control with fixed cost mainly through implementation of an expense management system and identification and implementation of cost saving initiatives.
