- Lead a team of 20+ execs in promoting women’s equitable access to hygiene products through online advocacy and fundraisers (>15k in-kind donations) -Run campaigns and create educational content/articles regarding feminine hygiene and clearing out taboo and misinformation-Working with ANOVA London Shelter of Abused Women and Children to collect donations and host drives in collaboration with multiple other campus clubs such as Empower and Women’s Health Network-Recipient of Western University Student Council grant for organizing campus donation drive to collect personal/feminine hygiene items, hosting a kit-making event with student volunteers, and collaborating with a guest speaker from ANOVA London; donating the equivalent to $4,000 worth of in-kind donation items

- Served as a resource for academic support and student success across 3 first-year residences (1700 students)- Connected students to on-campus resources such as International Student Support, Health & Wellness Centre and Academic Support Centre- Designed and ensured implementation of community programs to enhance first-year students’ experience and ensured they integrate into university life- Acted as a resource for international student engagement in residence and on campus and developed and facilitated programs that foster international connections and an inclusive environment

- Served as a resource for academic support and student success at the largest first-year residence at Western University (1200 students)-Held one-on-one meetings to work through students’ academic concerns, conduct programs and workshops, and connect students with campus resources-Developed and facilitate residence programs that foster a positive living and learning environment, personal growth, and leadership development -Maintained a network of contacts to make referrals to students who require academic support

Borradaile Lab at the Physiology and Pharmacology Department-Studied the effects of Eukaryotic Elongation Factor 1A1 on cell metabolism and energy extensive functions -Maintained and treated cell cultures with various drugs, generates standard curves, performed optimizations and trans-well migration assays-Conducted extensive literature research and designed experimental protocols-Worked with faculty supervisor to plan a feasible research project-Managed a long-term plan to run experiments-Conducted analysis and communicated findings in a poster and final written thesis

Borradaile Lab at the Physiology and Pharmacology Department-Investigated the non-canonical functions of Eukaryotic Elongation Factor 1A1 such as actin bundling-Maintained cell cultures and performed scratch closure assays-Designed and conducted experiments, analyzed results and reported valid conclusions-Analyzed microscopic images using the Fiji program-Presented project poster at the Ontario Cell Biology Symposium (OCBS) at University of Toronto (2022)-Co-authored published paper to Journal of Biological Chemistry titled “Elongation factor 1A1 regulates metabolic substrate preference in mammalian cells” January, 2024

Sakhdari Lab at the Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (LMP SURE), - Conducted thorough literature review and extensive background research on extra-nodal B-cell follicular lymphomas- Collected and organize patient data using Co-Path- Conducted univariate and multivariate statistical analyses on patients’ data in R- Completed a research project and poster presentation on nodal vs. extra-nodal follicular lymphomas in terms of demographic data, immunohistochemistry markers and outcomes-Co-authored submitted and published abstract to United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) Conference 2022 (Los Angeles, CA.)
