About Helleke Heikkinen

I am currently on my journey towards a Ph.D. at the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. I do research and teach in supply chain management, more specifically last-mile delivery, on-demand services, sustainability, circular economy, and innovation. My background is in business and the startup world. I have worked within and with tech companies for the past years, first building up the support and e-commerce section at the SW company Jolla, then opening the office of Swedish startup Fundera in Finland, and then matching innovative companies with funding at the Finnish Business Angels Network. During my three years in Berlin I did business development consulting as well as worked with key accounts at Honeypot. I have a solid understanding of startup operations, business strategy, and project management, and now and combine this with the hands-on know-how of web development. I finished a Full Stack Web Development bootcamp (MERN Stack) at the Ironhack Berlin campus. Learning: CSS/HTML, JavaScript, Express, React, NodeJS & MongoDB.
