Self driven, enthusiastic, quick learner and a people's personAfter spending many many years as a Registered Nursing Sister, working in Cape Town and Johannesburg, My next passion was to do Industrial Nursing, which I enjoyed working in different factories, some being Metal Box in Epping Cape Town, I&J in the docks of Cape Town, USSA Brush company.After working in the Administration at a hospital doing Hospital Case Management and being Head of Department, I decided to go into the corporate world of Case Management working for Medical Aids where I learnt a lot more about the other side of nursing. I learnt about the financial implications of costing out the hospital stay of many patients opposed to having their medical problems solved for nothing. After having mastered the position of Case Manager, I decided to get involved with Disease Management (Patient Driven Care). This was exceptionally interesting as I became a registered Asthma consultant. I also mastered the different Chronic Diseases and was able to discuss with my patients what was right and wrong. Never under mining the treating Doctor.Eventually decided I needed a change and that is when I was fortunate enough to secure a position with GAP Placement Agency as a Recruitment Resourcer. A position totally out of my usual aspect, but have been fortunate enough to learn a totally different job aspect and thoroughly enjoy what I am doing now.
