My position requires me to create regulatory compliant documentation for the chemical industry such as safety data sheets, labels and country specific regulatory information. It also requires me to provide regulatory compliant advice and consultancy services to our clients for a number of countries around the world.It also includes research and preparation of documentation such as SOP’s, rule sets and training modules to ensure that I have complete knowledge of current regulations with regards to chemical safety.I am required to decipher and summarise regulatory requirements into understandable guidelines and I create training modules in order to conduct training sessions, workshops and seminars etc. for customers and colleagues.As supervisor of the regulatory department, I also manage staff schedules and workloads as well as review meetings and chair team meetings.My role also incorporates interstate travel and presenter roles for forums and industry meetings.I work well under pressure and utilize great time management skills to not only work as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, but to also work as a Technical Sales Account Manager to assist clients with technical queries and regulatory updates.
