I am teaching at the AP degree programme in Chemical and Biotechnical Science. My primary responsibilities are laboratory techniqes and safety.I have from my job at DuPont gained knowledge of how to work with bio-based materials, both theoretical and practical. I am responsible for process development as my main area. But also trouble shooting and maintenance of the equipment in the laboratory, such as GC-MS, is part of the job. I am used to be working with several projects at the time.During my PhD study at Technical University of Denmark I was a part of the safety committee/work environment committee. This has taught me a lot about safety in the laboratory, not only for the people working there, but also for the environment. I also taught engineering students, which taught me how to motivate and guide people. I have experince with sharing results and knowledge at project meetings, both internal and external, and from conferences, which has given me good communication skills. I finished my PhD studies in June 2013.I have a master’s degree in pharmaceutical chemistry (MSc) from University of Southern Denmark from 2009. During my studies I have gained both theoretical and practical knowledge about mostly organic chemistry.I am a positive and energetic person with a strong personality. It is important for me that honesty and punctuality are key words, both for me, but also for the people I work with. I am used to juggling multiple tasks and keeping track of them all.
