This role revolved around the financial management of the different branches located in Kenya. I also handled administrative and marketing duties which entailed managing filing systems, handling customer/supplier inquiries, and B2B marketing.Key Responsibilities:• Prepared and managed accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;• Prepared the annual budgetary estimates and facilitated the preparation of annual financial statements for submission to the Board;• Prepared the monthly management accounts and Annual Statutory Financials Statement and submitted monthly quarterly, and annual informative analysis reports to the Managing Partner;• Managed the Monthly Payroll for verification and approval and ensured all employees’ statutory deductions (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, HELB) and any other tax obligations were processed, and all remittances submitted within the stipulated timelines;• Managed cash and bank processes including maintaining accurate bank records and bank reconciliations;• Held responsibility for records management ensuring that all filing systems were accurate to enable easy retrieval;• Served as a point of contact for communication and ensured that all queries were responded to promptly and any issues solved within the SOPs.• Managed and reconciled accounts receivables and accounts payables.
