My name is Hellen Tellez, and I am a Finance student at the University of Houston specializing in Commercial Real Estate.With a strong background in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), I served three years in the US Army as an operator of combat aircrafts where I had the privilege of demonstrating leadership, discipline, and time efficiency throughout my military service.I also serve as Director of Corporate Relations for the Undergraduate Real Estate Scholars (URES), the University of Houston's real estate club, where I coordinate all Guest Speaker events, facilitate the recruitment of employers and programs for the UH Real Estate Career Fair, and create Resume Books for Talent Recruitment. Through my active engagement in the student-led organization, I also participate in on-site property tours, educational workshops, and case competitions to gain exposure from industry experts and professionals.As I progress in my academic journey, I am eager to pursue internship opportunities that will allow me to gain hands-on experience and further deepen my understanding of the CRE industry. Upon my graduation in 2027 my goal is to become a Financial Analyst at a Commercial Real Estate firm that will allow me the opportunity to apply my detailed work ethic, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, to real-world scenarios and challenges.Happy to connect!
