Together with partners in Palestine rapidly reprioritized programs and provided support to children and young people during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and the war on Gaza in 2021.Gradual rationalized the organisational set-up.The Danish House in Palestine is an independent Danish civil society organisation. The vision is to strengthen the mutual understanding and appreciation between Danish and Palestinian cultures, as well as encourage values of diverse, open, and tolerant societies. The organisation works with 1) strengthening the resilience of Palestinian children and young people through art, culture and creativity; 2) supporting partners in the Occupied Territories of Palestine to reclaim and expand the civic space 3) engaging the Danish public, creating people-to-people meetings and facilitating voluntarism. Development of strategy to ensure greater cultural, ethnic and linguistic diversity within the humanitarian protection stand-by capacity. The assignment included identification of practises and obstacles to facilitate diversity, and identification of organisations in Malaysia, Zimbabwe, Senegal and South Africa to take on the task. Three concrete projects developed.

Conducted in-country review regarding the Danish Refugee Council’s civil society network programmes in the Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia. The review deals with e.g. network governance and accountability issues, organisational strengthening and capacity building, partnership approaches and the sustainability of the networks.

Based on consultations with the Office of the Prime Minister of Uganda, district authorities, UN agencies, civil society organisations and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, development and drafting of a programme for the Danish support to the new refugee policy in Uganda. Denmark supported the program with DKK 70 mil.
