I am a dedicated and performance-driven economist with more than 20 years of experience from the financial sector - primarily within wholesale securities markets. I have with success worked towards ensuring the best possible regulatory framework for investment firms within securities regulation.I am motivated to drive development and achieve results through constructive proposal/new initiatives and good cooperation with relevant stakeholders. I hold a Master in Economics from University of Copenhagen (1996). I was originally trained as a financial Advisor and have worked in three different banks before I graduated and joined the Danish Securities Dealers Association/Danish Bankers Association (now Finance Denmark).My focus is to ensure the best possible member service and results by optimizing the value chain within Securities Markets (trading, clearing, settlement), Corporate Finance issues and via international work in Nordic Securities Association (NSA: www.nsa-securities.com), European Banking Federation (EBF: www.ebf-fbe.eu), European Forum of Securities Associations (EFSA: www.efsa-securities.eu) and International Council of Securities Associations (ICSA: www.icsa.global)
