• Managing multiple integrated projects across project teams for HSBC Canada to RBC migration. Identify and understand the data landscape of both banks, including data sources, formats, and quality. Conducting comprehensive data mapping exercise to identify commonalities and differences in data elements, definitions, and structures used in finance and risk regulatory reporting such as Credit Risk, Liquidity and Stress testing reporting for Banking and Capital Market.• Establish data quality controls and validation processes to identify and rectify any issues during migration. Implementing data quality standards and metrics to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across merged systems for Legal Day 1. Prioritizing tasks on accounting critical data elements for GL Recon, GL Suspense account substantiation and back feed breaks resolution for dry runs (DR1/2/3).• Collaborate with finance, risk and regulatory reporting teams to understand their specific data requirements and data lineage need across banking, capital market and wealth products; worked with them and shared lists of CDEs and process flow and data design for all regulatory process from GL accounts Balance-sheet, Income-Expense to downstream transformation for accounting rule engine and data aggregation for RDAAR and IFRS9 reporting.

Led the successful implementation of the Finance Data On the Cloud Program (FOTC), overseeing the delivery of financial data through innovative cloud-based solutions for Basel III and BCBS 239.• Conceptualized data dictionary, data catalogue along with Metadata and Lineage for attributes wise data flow across multiple systems across Banking and Trade systems which formed the basis of design architecture for FOTC program. Accountable for multi-year, multi domain single data source for reporting and analytics which will lead to more granular data across group and regional financial reporting (UK, PRA, HKMA, EBA, OSFI).• · Leverage In-depth knowledge of various Capital Market products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products. Developed and implemented robust asset classification frameworks to accurately categorize diverse financial instruments. Mapped CDEs, Systems and Process flows across trade/counterparties treatment and calculation for netting, buckets and haircut methodologies to refine ALCM, Credit Risk metrics, ensuring accurate representation of risk exposure.• Worked with enterprise wide data governance program including implementation of system enabled - business validation, data quality rules and controls measuring, monitoring data quality across processes. Led improvements in Finance data management processes and technology solutions to ensure to ensure regional and regulatory requirements are met for Basel III, S-166 and BCBS239 in Risk Data Aggregation and internal Risk reporting practices.• Led Organization-wide change by re-engineering the System Data Interface (SDI) for Finance & Regulatory reporting for Basel III and BCBS 239 (Credit Risk Reporting /Stress Testing /Liquidity Reporting), collaborating with stakeholders across front-end businesses, Risk, Compliance teams and regional leadership.

• Managed Change the Bank Transformation Program and delivered Data Quality Initiatives projects to improve overall data enrichment and to make preventative changes.• Lead data projects with a team of 40 resources under the Chief Data Officer (CDO), providing shared services across various franchises encompassing Risk, KYC, AML, CDD, and FATCA portfolios. These projects covered the entire spectrum of data quality and data governance, including profiling, lineage, root cause analysis, remediation.• Collaborated and executed regulatory-driven data quality projects, resulting in a significant increase in Net Promoter Score (NPS +4) by improving overall customer experience. Implemented dashboard reporting for Key Data Elements (KDEs) across Franchises, supporting strategic decisions to integrate Data Quality within the Value Chain.• Supported various regulatory and strategic Key Data Element (KDEs) projects for AML processes such as Client Screening, Customer Due Diligence, FATCA, KYC and Periodic reviews.• Implemented effective governance, process flow, operating model and Introduced, monitored, successfully delivered formal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with Franchises. Managed project risk and issue logs for regulatory data quality projects (60 +).• Developed automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks, enhancing efficiency resulting in saving of ~£1 mn and improving process efficiency > 50,000 transactions daily.• Work with Global and Regional head of business data quality team to continually assess the health of account, customer data and KDEs and Regulatory data impacting processes.• Facilitated the Project transition from Waterfall to Agile methodology for Data Lineage and Data Profiling projects. • Led large and complex KYC remediation projects of business banking and commercial banking clients (over 1.2 million entities) and seamlessly migrated these projects with inter and intra country with global stakeholders.• Strategized and developed Process KPIs, Training strategy, Accreditation model, Quality Assurance framework for running and upcoming CDD projects.• Designed Business Operating Model (BOM) including, SOPs, Service Schedules, Assurance document, BCP strategies etc.• Involved in doing Change Risk Assessment (CRA) for new projects / products or change in existing process / product.• Effectively handled internal audits including regulatory audits by FSA, risk audit by DNB & BCP audits (BS25999).
