Building the department up from ground zero of SKYLA’s build better initiatives including team collaboration, offering new ideas and input on procedures, spearheading of new LOS and softwares, creating digital branch workflow and improving overall lending processes for members. •Inauguration of Skyla’s first Business Services Specialist acting as primary contact for the whole credit union team on all things commercial services department related. Responsibilities to include: -Following up on new leads to expand small business memberships and overall SKYLA relationship. -Business development to include calls, small business requests, small business relationship retention, assisting with online tools, merchant services or other resources and lending referrals. -Subject matter expert on business accounts and services including online platforms, account management or maintenance and setup procedures. -Communication and execution of knowledge in a clear, concise and consistent manner to encourage development of skills across other departments. -Gather, analyze, review, submit and presentation of complete service package recommendations.-Highly flexible to perform other various duties as assigned and always remains “one team focused”.

Prepare and present financial plans to customers and inspire positive actions with realistic, impactful first steps as well as, long term goals. Provides extensive credit counseling and in depth analysis. Strong understanding of current banking regulations and laws pertaining to consumer lending and consumer share accounts, as well as, astuteness of underwriting/internal guidelines.Primary job roles and functions include daily financial transactions, coaching, vault counting/balancing, ATM, quality audits, risk analysis, call center support, opening and closing duties, opening personal and business accounts, maintaining relationships, completing and underwriting loans, vehicle loans, recreational loans, secured loans, unsecured loans, credit cards, personal loans and HELOC applications.

Solely relied upon representative and product/service specialist of CCU’s only NC micro branch. Responsible for all aspects of the micro branch and micro branch daily operations. Completes tasks such as ordering inventory, facilities maintenance, technical support, daily open/close duties etc. Provides a full service and personalized experience for members in order to build and maintain strong relationships. This includes general deposit services, consumer lending, account maintenance, account research, ATM support, digital banking assistance etc for the Pender county market. Building and maintaining strong relationships through channels such as direct in-person marketing, business development initiatives and community involvement.
