• Actively ensuring that the home had the highest possible occupancy utilizing by actively promoting the home.• Ensure that the home is in complete compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements; striving to achieve the best possible care rating• Selection and recruitment of staff.• Undertaking audits to ensure quality service was being provided and to identify areas of improvements.• Attend relatives’ meetings, listen to views of families and formulate solutions to issues raised.• Manage referrals from initial enquiry to admission• Manage and mentor staff to strive to maintain a high standard of care by direct involvement and supervision.• Establishing and maintaining positive, professional relationships with social workers, care managers and commissioners.• In house sanctuary certified trainer for falls prevention, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Dols, Safeguarding Adults.• Raising safeguarding alerts, identify lessons learnt and sharing with team; CQC notifications.• Work with home manager to review and action Service Improvement plan (SIP).• Work with the home manager to ensure that the home meets its Key performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
