I am a Technical Product Manager with experience developing AI & web platforms, web apps, iOS apps, and APIs for both on-prem and cloud-hosted. My joy is delighting users and clients, my pride is delivering high-quality software on a schedule.I love the development cycle of generating testable hypotheses, putting the code in the customer's hands, and using their feedback to generate more hypotheses and improvements. At Nuvalence, I am known for my strategic insights, well-written requirements that articulate business rationale and use cases, clear and professional communication, drive to learn about the client's work and their related domain, and final project assets. Project Lead* I worked as on-site technical project lead with We Energies and Louisville Gas & Electric (LG&E). I gathered requirements, implemented client configurations, and trained on the software and software integration. Working with technical and non-technical audiences, I lead the customer through data conversion validation and building out test cases. * The LG&E project went live in July 2018. I was the on-site technical lead to ensure a smooth go-live into their new MAM system (our software package WATT-Net Plus). Scrum Master * As Scrum Master, I facilitated the daily scrum meetings and recommended sprint plans to distribute limited resources between Project Managers, on-going development, and bug fixing to meet deadlines and react quickly to customer feedback. Using data from time tracking and ticketing systems, I identified areas for improvement, calibrated our estimations on work effort, and refined processes in QA and project teams.Quality Assurance* Originally hired to build the Quality Assurance department from scratch, by developing test suites based on customer requirements and environment stacks (e.g. MS SQL vs. Oracle db). I developed processes to log and track defects from discovery to closure. In October 2016, I led the effort to earn ISO 9001:2008 certification for the Software department and to update to the ISO 9001:2015 standard in August 2017. Release Management* As Release Manager, I would determine which features and bug fixes were included in each version, documenting all changes in the published release notes. I managed the software releases via source code versioning and branching. For each release, I would coordinate the approval and promotion of all software product lines with Sales & Marketing, Customer Support, and Production.Staffing* I interviewed prospective employees to fill four different roles on the software team. Upon hiring, I trained each new employee on the WATT-Net Plus software product lines.
