Hi, I’m Kat. I have over 20 years’ experience in the field of graphic design. I have worked on projects for many blue-chip clients, largely specialising in print design. I have a range of artistic skills which complement each other and allow me to appreciate the various processes involved to reach a successful end product. I have never missed a deadline in my career, and I thrive in a fast-paced environment.Graphic Design is more than just my job, it’s my passion. My ethos is simple: I work hard and would never hand over a job I wouldn’t be proud of displaying in my portfolio. In the light of day I work for a Garden Buildings company in Bedford. I started at the company as a Graphic Designer in December 2012, but got promoted in April 2014 to Assistant Creative Marketing Manager (Go me!). In my spare time I write for an online music magazine. I review gigs, festival performances and new albums released by emerging and established acts. I also interview and photograph artists when required. I enjoy this element of my working life as I feel it is incredibly rewarding to introduce music fans to a band they may never have heard of before (and might even like!).
