Born out of the closure of EQ Design, FortyTwo Studio is truly a gem of an agency in the north east. With an impressive client base, an incredible team and a working culture that simply can't be beaten (in my experience anyway), FortyTwo was definitely the highlight of my career. I don't think it would be exaggerating to say I learned more about web development, server management, client relations and business in my time at FortyTwo than the rest of my career time combined. If I had to choose one highlight of my time at FortyTwo it would no doubt be launching the TECA/P&J Live website.I left FortyTwo at a high point to focus on some personal goals and return to self employment for good.

More a family than a merely a business, I worked with a host of incredible clients and was given many opportunities to truly pushed the boundaries of my abilities and experience. Eventually EQ Design closed up shop entirely and everyone moved on.

I worked on some cracking projects and watched Bob grow the business from one to a fully fledged agency… before a good friend tempted me away to what would be my longest stint of employment.

With clear structures, international locations and a truly integrated offering I couldn't help but gain yet more valuable experience. But once again I was sadly made redundant as structures were shifted within the business.

In the year I worked there I learned a vast amount about the design and advertising industry by observing the workings of the company, in particular the directors who always managed to inspire. Sadly I was made redundant when they chose to change the company structure.
