I manage the engineering, data and operations platforms within the company - everything from front to back.. I was brought on board to build out the on-shore development team, move the team from a startup mode to a more organized agile mode and to work with the CTO and Business Directors to help develop short and long term backlogs for application development. At a project level, I use Kanban and Scrum as needed and have also worked on some very fast-paced, startup like projects. We've introduced Devops practices into the environment. By recognizing the right tempo, team and gameplan, we've released software quickly, early and defect-free. At a program level, I help coordinate the functional and business teams so that each team can clearly see and understand the steps necessary to ship their products. My favorite part of the job is to coordinate and enable the QA, development, design and product teams towards an agile product development workflow. At an engineering level, I provide technical vision and support for all the teams I lead. This can be as an architectural guide for teams or it can even be a triage/read code/fix bug hands on team member. Most of my engineering focus is on slicing work properly, helping engineers with code guidance and making decisions on stacks, tools and technologies that are applied within the organization.Our stack is a mix of Angular, Python, PHP, ExpressJS, Node.JS, Jasper and MySQL.

I'm a Lead Architect in the Product Development organization. I work with a multitude of different departments and disciplines in order to develop Technical Requirements and implement those Requirements. It's a highly dynamic work environment that is amazingly fun. My Product Development experience was great. After serving in the Professional Services organization I was offered an opportunity to build a new product. As the Lead Architect on new product implementations I created a new product that used our powerful Experience Manager and Ecommerce platform in order to serve the international hospitality industry. I worked with Product Manager, User Experience Experts, Hospitality Industry Experts and Engineers to define requirements and shape the future of the Hospitality organization in MICROS. I also worked hands on as a Team Lead in this role to develop solution architecture, train and provide developer support and perform code reviews in order to delivery a finished and well rounded product.
