As President and Founder of NWCAVE, I have led national efforts to inform, educate, and prevent violence against women and children. Collaborating with various stakeholders, we raised awareness and promoted a violence-free society. Spearheading initiatives to combat human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of violence was a key focus.I manage a national board of directors, volunteers, interns and teams in Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona. For over a decade, under my leadership, our missing and murdered children's division has assisted law enforcement and families on cases, and our Advocacy Center for Justice continues to provide vital services to crime victims and the families.

We were a national marketing & public relations corporation specializing in non-profit capital campaigns and event production. We offered services in: branding, logo/website design, business plans, marketing/communications, media outreach, entertainment representation, and producing/directing fundraisers/special events (from quaint to city-wide productions).Clients included: Soroptimist International Desert Coast Region, ONE Archives, Los Angeles Women's Theatre Project, YWCA, Citrus College, Florida Association of Family & Consumer Sciences, Haven House, Irwindale Chamber of Commerce, and Taste of Texas to name a few. I sold the company and domain in 2017.

Served as the public awareness chair for Soroptimist International Northwestern Region from July 1, 2010 –to June 30, 2012 in an appointed volunteer position by the SI NWR Governor. Handled the public awareness, media relations and website / social media for the region of over 100 clubs in five states (Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Montana, and Northern Idaho) with over 3,000 members. During my term established the Jane Velez-Mitchell Journalism Award, the region and all levels of the organization were highlighted on CNN, HLN and “America’s Most Wanted” on Lifetime Television. The region also won 1st place for public awareness at the SIA Convention in San Francisco.

Implemented creative marketing & public relation strategies to enhance the profit margin of the corporation for the restaurant through networking, media collaborations, and entertainment promotion. Designed the first website (not the current one) responsible for the membership database, e-newsletters, and entertainment structure. I was the coordinator of the grand opening in January, which attracted the largest crowd for the company in their twenty years in business (over 3000 people attended) resulting in the highest weekend income in the history of the business. Responsibilities also included negotiation of contracts with vendors and national companies for events, accounts, and caterings. As one of the restaurant supervisors, I was responsible for all areas of operations, including but not limited to: employees, kitchen, banking, cashiers, customer interaction, and bartending.

Responsible for implementing creative marketing & public relations campaigns on dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Development of collaborations between political offices, businesses, non-profit organizations and health professionals to help create and/or enhance the events, health fairs, education, and advocacy that are available to the Los Angeles & Inland Empire communities. Responsible for the coordination of media communications (press releases, press conferences, and TV visibility). Development and Coordinator of all special events, mixers, and fundraisers for Azusa & Alhambra facilities. Main responsibility is to assure a full census of 81 beds, which the sales and marketing area are fully enhanced in this position. Representation of Silverado in Soroptimist International of Azusa/Glendora, Access for Seniors, MAPPS, Azusa/Glendora/San Dimas/Covina/Alhambra/San Marino/La Canada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce’s, and the Alzheimer’s Task Force.
