Dr. Hala Elsadek. is a professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering since 2012. Her master degree was from Japan in 1996 while her PhD was through channel with University of California, Irvine, USA in 2002. Her research interests are in the field of wireless communications and antenna systems. Dr. Elsadek published six books’ chapters, has six patents and acts as author in more than 180 research papers in highly cited international journals and in proceedings of international conferences in her field. Dr Elsadek participates in more than 30 research projects at the national and international levels.Her scopus h- index is 16 with google scholar citations 1715. She is an IEEE senior member from 2011. She is awarded the Egyptian Government Encouragement Prize for scientists in 2006. She is included in several biographical indexes all over the world as American Biographical Institute, International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England and "Marquis Who's Who" Encyclopedia. Dr. Elsadek has a 12 years’ experience in fundraising, proposal and grant writing and resources mobilization and has more than 15 years of experience in leading the research teams in different disciplines. She is acting as Adjunct Professor at School of Science and Engineering, AUC, Egypt since Spring 2020. Dr. Hala Elsadek’s developmental career is the role in the ICT for Community Development (ICT4D). From Oct. 2006, she was nominated by United Nations Development Program in Egypt to work at Ministry of Communication and Information Technology projects for using ICT to foster sustainable socio economic development in Egypt. She acted as a Director for Partnership In Development Unit (PID). Through her work she succeeded with her unit team to establish more than 25 developmental projects which got about 23 international awards. From 2022, She acts as the Director of Central Department for Digital Community Development at MCIT. Dr. Elsadek has a career for supporting innovation and connecting research outputs with industry and markets. She acted as leader of Technology Innovation Commercialization office (TICO) of Electronics Research Institute for 4 years. Form 2017 she leads the TARIEIC Incubator program which is the first governmental program for supporting innovators and startups in electronics industry. Also from 2020 she establishes leads the Entrepreneurial Club (E-club) program at Electronics Research Institute. Recently, She is acting as an Advisory Board Member in PTS Holdings and as an Archangel Investor in Core Angels MEA since 2023.
