Hello everyone!I am Helvio, a Portuguese who lived in London for 7 years and in Paris for 3 years. Since March 2022, I have been living in Switzerland.Throughout my adventure in the UK, I worked at The Lanesborough, The Ritz, The Savoy, and at Ace Hotel.Yes, I know, Ace Hotel was out of my experienced comfort zone, but I always love to embrace a challenge.Where professionalism meets comfort, it allowed me to focus on the essential: guests' experience. I also had the chance to motivate, train, and build a team, making sure they adhered to the motto.In Paris, it was time for a new chapter. Bonhomie was where I developed my wine skills. There, I met more inspiring people. As Bonhomie's motto is "Sharing is Caring," keeping my passion for hospitality alive was easy.Now, Switzerland. La Pinte des Mossettes made me move here. In the heart of the Gruyère mountains, a few hundred meters from the Chartreuse de la Valsainte, "La Pinte" is an inspiring place for the team that works there and for the clients who have come to taste it since its creation by Chef Judith Baumann, offering cuisine close to nature.Hailed by gourmets as an emblematic place of good eating in Suisse Romande, this place is tailor-made for its current Chef, Nicolas Darnauguilhem, who has claimed since his beginnings in Brussels an almost mystical proximity to nature and to the products it offers over the seasons.2023 started with a new challenge at Café Des Philosophes, Lausanne. Known for natural wines, seasonal and local cuisine, and creative cocktails, "Les Philos" has existed for over 100 years. Along with Aldwin Beets, we were in charge of bringing sunnier, brighter, and more inspiring days to "Les Philos."Now I am at Smith & Smith, a wine company extremely creative, based in Zurich. Now Lac Léman is under our attention and I have the mission to be as close as possible to our partners, creating events, partnerships, and sharing with them our winemakers' stories and love.
