As an interior design professional, I have the unique privilege of being in the business of dream creation. One of the most satisfying feelings is that of watching a project evolve from a conceptual seed to a fully developed design and finally into a completely new entity. Essentially, we take an empty space and create a living place.Working in interior design requires time, patience and an ability to understand and connect to other members of our human family. We all feel the same emotions throughout our lives and we are all inextricably interlinked. This is especially true in the area of interior design, where we study and shape physical and built environments to tell a story as well as nurture those who interact with them.This is yet another aspect of my work that fascinates me.I have the incredible good fortune of being able to work in an amazing country and region; here in Kenya (and indeed most of East and central Africa) you find environments where beautiful architecture melds seamlessly with a breathtaking natural landscape.
