Leading a team of 14 people and a team of onsite engineers from different vendors. Handling PAN India Technical operations, support, and delivery of four projects.1) DVB4 running on Linux environment.2) DVB5 running on Openshift.3) OTT DRM running on Openshift.4) DVBIP running on Linux environment.Roles and responsibilities:• Managing Openshift environment and providing day-to-day support on issues related to application by analyzing logs of different PODs.• Starting and stopping of PODs post implementing changes in config files like novaconfig.• Responsible for implementing and maintaining EC2, VPC, EBS, AMI, SNS, RDS, Cloud Watch, S3.• Managing DRM.• SPOC for UAT and delivery of new projects and delivery of new modules of existing project, functionality testing post implementing the changes.• Having good exposure to EC2 container service.• Managing approx. 80 Linux servers and application running on those servers.• Troubleshooting issues related to OS and application in Linux environment.• Routine interaction with team to check for blockers and assisting them as and when required.• Keeping track of tickets raised to make sure they are updated regularly and keeping all stakeholders well informed on progress till closure. • Acting as technical escalation point for team in case of blockers and assisting them in solving the problems reported from field.• Checking server logs for various problems like encryption, ingestion of Assets, starting and stopping services in Linux environment.• Checking and parsing logs for various commands like activation and deletion of smart cards, OSDs, FPs and Bmails as and when required.• Starting and stopping of various services on Linux servers.

Bangalore

• Managing Linux based servers for different customers.• Troubleshooting the issues related VOD and catchup TV for various assets ingestion.• Responsible for implementing and maintaining EC2,VPC,EBS,AMI,SNS,RDS,Cloud Watch,S3.• Managing DRM.• Responsible for troubleshooting issues in openshift environment.• SPOC for UAT of new modules of project, new projects, functionality testing post implementing changes to existing system.• Proficient with container systems like openshift and container orchestration like EC2 container service.• Monitoring of servers using NDS Monitor.• Checking server logs for various problems like encryption, ingestion of Assets, starting and stopping services like SIG, ECMG, EMMG and SDP.• Routine interaction with the Customers for the proper working of servers and applications.• Checking and parsing logs for various commands like activation and deletion of smart cards, OSDs, FPs and Bmails as and when required.• Changing the configuration of various services as per the requirement during various maintenance windows.• Writing and scheduling various scripts using crontab to fetch data from servers.• Taking care of Virtual machines running on VMware.• Maintaining the system performance, CPU process and memory utilization.• Troubleshooting various EMM (Entitlement Management Messages) and ECM (Entitlement Control Messages) related problems.• Starting and stopping of various services on Linux servers.• Regular checking of istreamer servers for availability of various tables like CAT, NIT, SDT, EIT.• Inserting data into various tables via toad and SQL Developer.• Selecting and filtering data as per the requirement.• Responsible for delivery for encrypted content to CDN.

Delhi

• Managing approx. 200 Linux based servers in data center.• Monitoring of servers using various monitoring tools like NDS Monitor and Nagra Monitor• Checking server logs for various problems like encryption, starting and stopping services like SIG, ECMG, EMMG and SDP.• Routine interaction with the Synamedia and Nagra engineers’ team for the proper working of servers and applications.• Checking and parsing logs for various commands like activation and deletion of smart cards, OSDs, FPs and Bmails as and when required.• Changing the configuration of various services as per the requirement during various maintenance windows.• Writing and scheduling various scripts using crontab to fetch data from servers.• Managing NTP server of all Linux machines.• Taking care of Virtual machines running on VMware.• Maintain the system performance, CPU process and memory utilization.• Troubleshooting various EMM (Entitlement Management Messages) and ECM (Entitlement Control Messages) related problem.• Changing the run level of the services, ownership, & permissions.• Starting and stopping of various services (like ssh, cluster, ntp) on Linux servers.• Managing report servers to fetch subscription reports using various scripts and then scheduling scripts in crontab.• Transferring of subscription reports and other database dump from Linux and CentOS servers to central FTP by writing and scheduling the scripts.• Inserting data into various tables via toad.• Selecting and filtering data as per the requirement.• Running select and insert queries.• Formatting reports using commands like sed and scheduling in crontab to fetch reports like number of subscribers and numbers of services corresponding to packages

Noida

Responsibilities:• Monitoring and troubleshooting of linux servers .• Managing services related to LIVE content ingestion and for the successful delivery of content to the end user. • Preparation of the match reports, content downloading reports and revenue reports after the match to provide the required data to the client (UEFA).• Routine interaction with the Reliance Data Centre engineers team for the proper working of Application servers.• Handling incidents related to subscription problem by end users.• Handling incidents related to delivery failure of videos and SMS by looking into the logs.• Managing NTP server of all linux machines.• Maintain the system performance, cpu process and memory utilization.• Changing the runlevel of the services, ownership, & permissions.• Configuration of ethernet card by assinging the ip address, netmask, gateway.• Manitoring of servers using Nagios.
