· Configuring and administering to the LAN infrastructure of all the customer locations spread throughout the globe. · Technical validation and modifying customer LAN according to the standards · Responsible to coordinate with the respective channel SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) in case of any help required for hands and feet support or help required for implementing any new network change at the client location remotely. · Configuring Spanning-tree protocol and it’s advanced features (Port fast, Uplink Fast, Backbone Fast, Root Guard, Loop Guard, BPDU Guard and UDLD). · Configuring and administering VLAN Trunking Protocol and Dynamic Trunking Protocol. · Analysis of customer’s traffic with the help of SPAN and RSPAN sessions created across the switching domain. · Configuring QoS parameters and allocating the total available bandwidth proportionately among various applications present at the customer’s end. · Configuring the gateway redundancy techniques like HSRP, VRRP and GLBP at the exit of the switching domain· Responsible to migrate customer network in various location into HCL’s scope· Responsible to suggest and implement the Service Improvement Plans suggested for the customer network · Responsible to coordinate with the respective channel SPOC for implementing any new network change · Troubleshooting & Administering the network for any issues related to Routing/Switching · Designing the required network changes and coordinating with BU heads and service provider’s in order to get the changes completed
