Yoga appeared to be a logical choice, right from School days, to pursue as graduation and subsequently as a career. I felt that this is one field where self-development and enabling others to develop as a well-rounded individual is possible.Coming from an agricultural background, much early in life, I was introduced to uncertainty, focus, hard work & the importance of following a routine. This mindset helps me in my profession as a Yoga Specialist for Women.Since 2010, I have been fortunate to interact, train, coach and mentor learners from more than 40 Countries. Out of this, more than 80% were Women learners. This prompted me to learn Garba Samskara, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and other processes related to Women Health & Wellness. This led to the birth of 'Yoga with Hema Balan' in April 2022.My stint as a full time Yoga Teacher & Program Manager at the international residential Yoga School, Shrimath, for 11 years enriched my understanding Yoga as a system.
