Hemali Saurman is an experienced leader in global product roll-outs for financial markets & change management. She is experienced at leading teams to enable strategic projects and independently taking business ideas from vision to execution using data driven insights. She is currently working at Moody's Investors Service (MIS), as SVP- Head of Research Publishing, where she is responsible for the strategy, execution and management of the MIS global publishing platform used for publishing and dissemination of content, including published research, data and methodology reports. Hemali and her 50+ member team define the vision and strategy for publishing and build deeper partnerships among the rating groups, technology and product strategy teams. Hemali also leads a team of product managers and research production managers, and oversees management of 24-hour production shift coverage for research production support. Hemali is a key transformational leader in digital content, as Moody's continues to modernize the MIS content suite and partners with Moody's Analytics (MA) to meet customer preferences for digital, interactive and web-based content, data and analytical tools. Hemali joined Moody’s in 2013 as a senior project manager in MIS Research to drive the successful rollout of CMS for over 1700 users across MIS. Hemali also led strategic initiatives for MIS, including as Vice President, Graphics & Outreach Product Management and Operations. In that role, Hemali managed a 15-member team that was responsible globally for product and process management for MIS outreach platform and the graphics and charting platform. Hemali built and oversaw Graphics and Outreach operations team based in New York, India, Germany and Costa Rica, and has led a number of strategic initiatives including a redefined MIS email strategy, improved investor data quality and investing and growing our talent to support graphics and infographics. As a driver of transformative change, Hemali is a recognized subject expert on research product and processes and she brings a deep network across MIS. Prior to joining Moody's, Hemali worked as a Product Manager at Codestreet reporting to the company’s CEO & CTO. At Codestreet, Hemali wore several hats and contributed to introducing key features & increased the number of clients on the Codestreet's flagship platform "Teamwork" used for fixed income trading from 2 to 24 (various top tiered banks and boutique firms).
