As part of the RISK team my primary responsibility is to develop tests for complex and computationally intensive credit risk evaluating models and algorithms. Requires expertise in unittests, pytest and pandas and reasonable understanding of the concepts of credit and risk. Collaborating with model developers spread across the globe, engineering (and reverse-engineering in some cases) the requirements of each model, developing unit tests to verify the requirements and opening PRs to debate the validity of the unit tests summarizes my daily routine.

Moved to India in late August 2022 to enroll my special needs son in therapy and take care of my ageing parents. Returned to the US in early May 2023.

Developed Python tools for auto-generation of flight-qualified C++. The modular and lightweight tools read in user data files (ICD or Interface Control Documents) in multiple formats (JSON, CSV, YAML) and process it as a domain-specific language. Tools are used by role SW development teams (MFC, AFSS, etc.) for auto-generating code that handles serializing and de-serializing of telemetry message ICDs and state-vector definitions (voltage, current, etc.).Developed automated software for functional testing of AFSS HW (Autonomous Flight SafetySystems). Setup includes NIDAQ 6323 cards, BlueTech PCIE USART port and Genesys power supplies. Sets up a simulated flight environment and continuously reads data from the instruments and saves to file and generates plots at end of test run. Requires multiple threads and processes to run concurrently.Developed automated SW for functional testing of IVL (Instrumentation, Video and Logging) SW.Controls GL Comm Packet Expert™ tester, Blackbox network switch, Keithley 3706 DMM, Keysight33512B waveform generator, Keysight B2901A SMU, Keysight N6700C PDU, Tripp-lite PDUMH20ATPDU and Tripp-lite UPS. Develop advanced Python code for automation of near field and far field antenna measurements. The code is in the form of both user-friendly GUI's and console scripts. The SW is an end-to-end solution that controls instrument and antenna setup, measurement execution, data collection and crunching, KPI plot generation, pushing to SQL DB and email notification.Developed SW for transforming near field data to absolute far-field. This gives the RF design engineers invaluable insight prior to running long duration far-field measurements. The SW uses NumPy and Scipy packages.Developed Python code that utilizes genetic algorithm for optimizing the parameters that control the waveform emanating from the antenna and hence the performance.

In an Agile environment, design and implement HW and SW to test RF performance of RFID interrogators and their conformance to regulatory norms of multiple countries. Strong fundamentals of wireless comm., RFID tech., hands on experience with RF measurement instruments and OOPs. Tests were developed in Python and executed on a Jenkins server in a CI environment.

Design and execution of RF tests of radio chips operating in 2.4GHz band, including measuring power, sensitivity and blocking capabilities. Designed software in Labview for automating test cases. Authored documents and trained overseas engineers.

Member of the handset verification group that conducted manual and automated tests on handsets provided by vendors (Motorola, Nokia, RIM, etc.,) to T-Mobile. Conducted GSM testing that includes checking for call flow protocols, rescans, handovers, reselections, reject codes, international roaming, successful OTA’s, emergency calls, transmitter and sensitivity tests, ROM-ONS, EONS, class 0-3 SMS, IOT and VMI ETSI among many.

Member of the Post Processing team that processes data obtained from Invex3G and Baseline testing from various markets around the country as part of a benchmarking project. The project aims at establishing performance metrics for wireless carriers.

Organized a 6 member test team to Pre-Optimize CDMA (IS-95) routes in Spokane, WA and Boise, ID using Invex 3G for Cricket wireless upgrading an IS-95 network to 1x-RTT.Monitored the Rx levels, PN sequences, serving sites, neighbors list, checked for softer and soft handoffs (shakedown). Verified individual cell site, cluster level and market level network performance.
