I work with startups in India to design products that leverage AI and compute on the edge. Application areas include agri tech, industrial IOT, robotics, automotive, and medical technologies. Also advise the companies on their IP strategy.As an innovation / IP / tech transfer evangelist, I frequently engage with the ecosystem participants including startups, academia, and the industry. I have run several programs to generate disruptions and patents.I find myself frequently at the intersection of technology domains and truly enjoy the experience. I have worked on projects spanning semiconductors, multimedia (camera, display, graphics), MEMS, materials science, optics, and nanotechnology devices. I have been granted two US patents, have 10+ patents pending with US and other international patent offices, several peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.Over the years, I have been a practitioner of Design Thinking and try to apply it to every project be it IP strategy or baking. The "professor" in me tries to impart this mindset to interns and start-ups. As a coffee lover, I am frequently found taking on new beans and coffee shops.
