Designed & Implemented a unique Inboard braking system for the Student built All-Terrain Vehicle. Improved the braking efficiency of the existing Brake sub-system by 60% using the self-designed Brake calipers.

Identified a prospective weather strip fitment defect in 120 cars at the initial stages and helped rectify it. The initial identification helped reduce rework and potential line losses thus saving additional 9 minutes of cycle time.

The project included the study of Standard Operational Procedures for Bell, Tulip, Race and Cage as parts of Constant Velocity (CV )Joints and suggest improvements in the manufacturing them to improve the values of CPk in the process.■ Assisted in the experimental analysis for finding the causes of rejections and poor quality of CVJ's. ■ Using the analysis, the quality of the products was improved leading to 15 % scrap reduction.
